M2P is the new Thematic Conference of the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS).
The goal pursued by this new ECCOMAS Thematic Conference is twofold.
On the one hand, cases of successful interaction between mathematics and industry will be presented. Special emphasis will be devoted to the benefits provided by the transfer of knowledge in different fields of applications, including the social challenges of sustainable development.
On the other hand, groundbreaking ideas and emerging technologies in computational science will be discussed to foster cross-fertilization of academic solutions and real-world problems.
Haysam Telib, CEO of OPTIMAD, is going to deliver a presentation on “Challenges of Residual Minimization-based Model Order Reduction in Car Aerodynamics“. The project is an outcome of collaboration with M. Mrosek, A. Scardigli, C. Othmer.
The presentation will take place on the 1st of June 2023, during the session IS06a – Fast scientific computing and numerical simulation for industry, between 11:15 and 13:15, at the Hotel Villa Diodoro, Taormina, Sicily, Italy.
